When facing complex challenges, a different perspective can uncover solutions we might miss otherwise.
In the first instalment of a new educational video series, Ted Tagami (Magnitude.io, Australian Virtual Astronaut Challenge) sat down with members from the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space to highlight what cross-discipline collaboration looks like in action.
Each video will prompt students to consider different perspectives within their own challenge, and explore current Australian research in space habitation and sustainability.

“One experiment can give data for many different people as they ask different types of questions. Humans are travelling farther than ever before, and plants will travel with us. As you develop your project, consider your team’s strengths. What expertise is missing? Where could collaboration make your work stronger?
Talk with scientists. Talk with engineers. Connect with Plants for Space and join the AVA Challenge!”
